If you are new to MHL, please take a moment to review how a sale works. After more than 25 years in business, we have found it easiest to explain how a sale works through five Q&A’s:
When are the sales?
A sale always begins on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m. The sale continues on Saturday, opening at 8:00 a.m. and closing at 6:00 p.m. It is important to note that we have a limited supply of furniture at each of our sales. Therefore, if we happen to sell all the furniture prior to the scheduled close time, the sale will end early.
I visited the model(s) prior to the sale and there is something I really would like to get. How can I increase my chances of getting that item?
Many customers choose to arrive prior to 8:00 a.m. on Friday in order to secure a good spot in line. We run on a first come, first served basis. When arriving before the sale begins, there will be a sign designating where to form the line prior to 8:00 a.m.
It is 8:00 a.m., and the sale has started. What do I do now?
Once the sale begins, you can proceed into the model(s) and begin to pull the price tags off any items you would like to buy. If an item is small enough, we suggest you carry the item while you continue to shop. When shopping, please be considerate of others. If at any point a customer does not intend to purchase an item for which he/she holds the tag, we strongly encourage the customer to replace the tag on the item for sale. Furthermore, if we notice a customer holding multiple price tags for an extended period of time, we will likely ask the customer to return the tickets in order to give other customers an opportunity to purchase those items. Once you have finished shopping, simply proceed to the cashier in order to pay for the merchandise.
What forms of payment does M.H.L. accept, and is the price on the tag the total a customer should expect to pay?
We take cash and Visa/MasterCard (3% service fee applied). We charge sales tax according to the city in which we are conducting the sale. All sales are final.
I have paid and I am ready to take my purchases home. Now what?
We do not move/carry the furniture to your car. It is up to you to remove your purchases from the model home. It is best to have someone meet you on site to assist you in moving your purchases.
